  • Designed and installed more than 1000 kW of photovoltaic systems in urban and rural facilities.
  • Designed and developed several renewable energy projects. These projects were developed and designed using different programs: Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, PVSyst, Helioscope, as well as, SketchUp and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Designed and developed websites and applications related to the company and managed them.
  • Developed computer programs to evaluate and optimize energy performance in the designed systems. Programs used to achieve this task: Matlab, LabVIEW, Python, Statgraphic.
  • Communicated and collaborated with clients to develop and execute their projects according to their necessities and the industry standards.
  • Participated in the proposals and permitting development required by the utilities and the cities/municipalities for the renewable energy projects execution.

  • Studied, maintained and tested internal combustion engines. The work was performed in secured facilities (test benches) and the collected data was acquired using professional hardware and software (National Instrument hardware and software).
  • Analyzed alternative fuels performance in ground support vehicles operating at the Havana International Airport with satisfactory results.
  • Developed experimental projects with international universities and companies for alternative fuels using a variety feedstock including sugar cane, vegetable oils, non-edible oils, waste oils and natural gas.
  • Taught mathematics, Internal Combustion Engine Theory as well as Mass and Heat Transfer to classes of engineering students. Supplemented classroom instruction with practical hands-on learning opportunities in the lab.
  • Chaired student research and study groups, participated in faculty meetings and presented work at international conferences on renewable energy.
